Hi, I am Jo-Ann!

Im a Registered Dietitian in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town, offering specialized nutrition counselling and treatment for adults. 

I qualified as a Registered Dietitian at the University of Stellenbosch in 2006,  and after 10 years of gaining valuable experience in the UK started my own practice in Durbanville in 2017. 

I am a mother of two young children and a keen sports enthusiast, often cycling, running, or dappling into the world of triathlons.  I fully understand the challenges to keep on top of day-to-day life and maintain a healthy work-life-sanity-balance.

I value each and every client, I listen to YOUR needs, I want to understand YOUR challenges, and I offer the best solution that will work for YOU.   Your goals are my priority.

What I offer

Dietitians are medically trained professionals with a University degree.  I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA ), The Association of Dietetics in South Africa (ADSA) and the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF). I am  bound to a code of ethics to provide up to date, medically and scientifically proven sound advice.  Dietitians have medically supported clinical skills and scientific knowledge which are your guarantees of complete professionalism and expertise. I eliminate fads, provide clarity and help you with what really works.
